'David: El cáncer me salvó la vida', a documentary short film

09/28/2017

Núria Francisco directs this story based on the experience of David Òbia

David is an actor thanks to the worst experience of his life, a testicular cancer. Before the cancer, he was a materialist man and always had to be right. The suffering of cancer made him value life in a different way. Above all, once the cancer was over, the worst came, any pain or itching made him think he would fall again. Thanks to the acting, he overcame fear by fear. The person he was has nothing to do with who he is today. So he says: “El cáncer me salvó la vida” ("Cancer saved my life").
