Siempre es invierno tells the story of Miguel (David Verdaguer), a landscape architect, who travels to Belgium with his girlfriend Marta (Amaia Salamanca) to participate in a conference. There, his relationship ends, and after breaking up with his partner, he decides to stay alone for a few more days to rebuild his future. Broken and disoriented, Miguel meets Olga (Isabelle Renauld), a volunteer at the architecture conference. At her side, he will begin to rebuild himself and understand his new life project.
