The LAAB: Laboratori d’Adaptacions Audiovisuals de Barcelona organizes its presentation event on the morning of July 9th in the Born Center of Culture and Memory (Comercial Square, 12) from 9:30 a.m to 02:00 pm in which all the participating works will be presented to the representatives of the audiovisual sector with the ability to lead their development: producers, antennas and screenwriters. In this LAAB Networking Event the projects that receive financial aid will be known and will be presented together with the rest of the works to these representatives. This will encourage the environment to create the connections that allow them to become audiovisual works.

This initiative is a laboratory for adaptation to the audiovisual sector of literary works edited and published linked to the city of Barcelona. It is promoted by the Institute of Culture of Barcelona through the Barcelona Film Commission. Its objective is to help producers or programmers of the audiovisual sector to acquire intellectual property rights of literary works to use them in multiple production proposals and distribution windows.
