New film series "Game of mirrors"


In Caixaforum Barcelona

For this film exhibition, that will take place from February 4th to March 3rd, five women directors will present five films by other female filmmakers that they have chosen. The films will be presented live or through a video by the directors that have chosen each film. This exhibition wants to make visible some peculiarities of the cinematographic creativity of several women through the connections that unite those different authors.

Carolina Astudillo has chosen Chevalier by Athina Rachel Tsangari; Diana Toucedo has chosen On Body and Soul by Ildikó Enyedi; Belén Funes has chosen Radiance by Naomi Kawase; Celia Rico has chosen Faces Places by Agnès Varda and JR and Carla Subirana has chosen The Party by Sally Potter. The cycle is a production of Dones visuals and the Mostra de Films de Dones.
