The Mostra de Dones begins its autumn program

With the monograph dediated to Márta Mészáros

The Mostra continues to celebrate its 30th anniversary. In September, it begins its autumn program. At the Filmoteca de Catalunya, we will see the monograph dedicated to the Hungarian director Márta Mészáros. It also includes a conversation between Marta Selva, co-founder of the Mostra, and Vanesa Fernández, director of ZINEBI. It will be on Thursday, September 8 at 9:00 p.m. in the Sala Chomón with the premiere of the film Nine Months. On Wednesday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Sala Laya, Márta Mészáros seen by Mònica Rovira. The Catalan filmmaker and researcher will give a personal reading of the work of the Hungarian director. She is the director of the documentary Ver a una mujer.

The Archipelago call is also open from September 12 to October 17. Where filmmakers, critics, and visual artists can pay tribute to the women filmmakers who are part of our imaginary.
