Gandules 2019 begins


With the motto “Quantum vision”

From 6th to 22th August. Parallel universes, time travel and the overthrowing of rational order are the stars of the Gandules’19 cycle. This August, the CCCB’s summer cinema offers ten films in which concepts deriving from the quantum revolution have inspired the creation of new imaginaries. Every Tuesday, Wenesday and Thursday at 22 pm at El Pati de les Dones. A cycle curated by film critic Jordi Costa in the framework of the exhibition Quantum. All the movies are free.

  • August 6: High Life bu Claire Denis.
  • August 7: Twin Peaks: Fire walks with me (Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me) by David Lynch.
  • August 8: Help the human eye. Session with presentation by the director Velasco Broca.
  • August 13: Uncle Boonmee remembers their past lives (Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives) by Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
  • August 14: Symbol (Shinboru) by Hitoshi Matsumoto.
  • August 15: Mind Game (Maindo Gêmu) by Masaaki Yuasa and Koji Morimoto.
  • August 20: Fish & Cat (Mahi va gorbeh) by Shahram Mokri.
  • August 21: Donnie Darko by Richard Kelly.
  • August 22: La Jetée by Chris Marker + Je t’aime, je t’aime by Alain Resnair. Double session.
