07/22/2021

Starring Joan and Roger Pera

The film is a fiction project based on the original play Paco, el metralla (Paco, the shrapnel), by Joan Pera, written and directed by Jordi Roigé, starring Joan Pera and Roger Pera.

The film explains the relationship between a priest and a POUM militiaman. They are hidden in an attic in the center of Barcelona during much of the Civil War. We see how hatred, suspicion, and differences disappear over the months.

In addition to the protagonists, Joan Pera and Roger Pera, as Father Joan and Metralla, complete the cast Mercè Pons (Pepeta) and Cristina Brondo (Aurora).

The filming began in Cerdanyola del Vallès. They're shooting the attic scenes, the most present scenario in the film. It will also film in Barcelona, near Ciutat Vella.
