Directed by David Pujol

After filming on the Costa Brava, the shooting of the movie Esperando a Dalí moved to Barcelona. Director David Pujol makes his debut as a fiction director after a long career as a documentary director.

José García, a French actor of Spanish origin, is one of the protagonists of the film, along with Pol López, Iván Messeguer, Clara Ponsot, Nicolas Cazalè and Paco Tous.

The script written by David Pujol himself takes us back to Cadaqués in the seventies when the mythical painter Salvador Dalí lived in this picturesque town infected with the surrealism that permeated all of his work. Two brothers, Fernando and Alberto, who cook at the best French restaurant in Barcelona, flee to Cadaqués because of the political implications of one of them. Once there, the magical atmosphere of Cadaqués ruled by King Dalí trapped them.

Esperando a Dalí is produced by Waiting for Dalí, A.I.E. (Fishcorb Films and Arlong Productions) and distributed internationally by Embankment Films.
