Synopsis:
The strange death of an old friend brings Victor Alba back from New York to Spain. In spite of their friendship, Horacio, one of the country's wealthiest men, had swindled Victor and stolen his girlfriend, Elena. On his return, Victor becomes enmeshed in a mysterious plot which Inspector Cervero has been investigating for years, a plot in which Elena and her daughter Sofia are also caught up.
