Lidia Muñoz (64), a retired Argentine in exile, has lived in Barcelona since 1978. Lidia was forced into exile from Argentina after the military dictatorship that ruled the country in those years tried to kidnap her and make her disappear. Pregnant with her only daughter, Valeria, who is now 36 years old, she managed to flee to Spain.
Forty years later, at her home in Barcelona, she receives by mail a summons from the Argentine Ministry of Justice to testify in the trial for the kidnapping and subsequent disappearance of Oscar Medina, her boyfriend, and then-partner, father of Valeria. Valeria does not understand that her mother is reluctant to travel to Argentina. It is time to reclaim the figure of her missing father.
During the testimony at the trial, Lidia discovers that Jorge Ramos, their best friend, had handed over her and Oscar. Jorge collaborated with the repressors by denouncing or pointing out people on the street.
