C. is a sound designer who enjoys her work and who spends many hours alone, recording room effects, wild-tracks, editing, mixing. The studio is her last refuge: a place to put off the damaged relationships that she maintains with her ex-partner, her elderly mother, and her co-workers. Although she doesn't know it, C. is starting to get out of sync. As if it were a poorly voiced movie, her brain has begun to process sound later than images.
