Alex is a young actress raped during a New Year's Eve party surrounded by her friends. She couldn't see her attacker, and over the next year, she will deal with guilt, disgust, and shame. While Alex tries to channel all that pain through the theater, where she plays the vengeful character of Medea, her brother Adrian faces anger for not having known how to protect her sister and the impulse to let himself get carried away by his own decisions.
