Juan José Prieto (José Manuel Poga) and Mateo Calatrava (Julián Villagrán) are the protagonists of a thrilling escape that kept the entire Catalan regional police force on tenterhooks for 33 days until they were cornered in the mountains and their arrest.

They are two fugitive prisoners who, in October 2001, escaped from the Lleida prison with a plan designed over months, managed to activate all the state security forces and keep the population on alert.

The series recreates this escape, inspired by a real one, focusing on the Mossos d'Esquadra investigation team and the escapees, whose plan becomes complicated, and they must improvise.
