Fernando Trullols makes his feature film directing debut with this production by Lastor Media, Vilaüt Films, Goroka Contents, Balandrau Films AIE, and 3Cat. The events in the year 2000 in the Catalan Pyrenees inspired Balandrau. The film is based on the book Tres nits del torb i un cap d’any by Jordi Cruz, and the script is the work of Danielle Schleif. It tells the story of a group of mountaineers who were surprised by the worst snowstorm in the Catalan Pyrenees and the feat of the firefighters to rescue them.

Álvaro Cervantes, Bruna Cusí, and Marc Martínez star in this story of love, friendship, and overcoming together with Pep Ambrós, Francesc Garrido, Ágata Roca, Anna Moline,r and Jan Buxaderas among others. Filming will take place over seven weeks in the Boí Valley and Camprodon, in the ski resorts of Boí Taüll, Vallter 2000, and Puerto Ainné. In addition, part of the filming will take place on a large set in Barcelona.
