BFC meets with the events coordination board of the city

Barcelona Film Commission keeps working to integrate the film and commercial shootis in the events organization dynamics of the city. 

Just after holidays, the BFC had the opportunity to make a presentation of the daily work carried out by the office, as well as of its future strategy, in front of the Events Coordination Board of the City Council. This board, which meets regularly to assess the greatest events taking place in the city, is formed by members of the municipal departments and institutions most affected by major street actions and events in the city. Departments such as Communication Directorate, the Culture department, Barcelona Events department, the City Police, the City districts, Public Transports Dep. etc.

The aim of the meeting was to integrate film shoots, especially large format ones, in the  same analysis dynamics of the major city events, as well as to raise awareness of the value of shootings, both films and advertisings, as an important economical and promotional source of the city.
