This week begins the Serielizados Fest

A festival about TV series

From September 27th to 30th the CCCB will host the fifth edition of this festival that this year will feature guests such as Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad, the comedian and former mayor of Reykjavík Jón Gnarr, the director Erika Lust, the director and Israeli scriptwriter Keren Margalit and Nacho Carretero, author of the book Fariña. It will also premiere 11 international series in the Panorama section and five national pilots of young talent in the Pilots Showcase.

Iceland will be the guest country in this edition with the presence of Jón Gnarr, comedian, series creator and former mayor of Reykjavik, who will talk about how he became mayor. Gnarr will also present his series The Mayor in a cycle about his figure organized at the Filmoteca de Catalunya. There will also be screened the documentary Gnarr and the series Næturvaktin (Night shift). In the PRO Session there will also be an Icelandic presence with screenwriter and producer Sigurjón Kjartansson, who will present his Trapped series as a case study.
