Tomorrow begins the BccN Film Festival

Screening of the documentary Tijera contra papel and round table

Tomorrow the Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival will be inaugurated, and in the framework of the exhibition of the work of Santiago Sierra "Political Prisoners in Contemporary Spain", the CCCB hosts the inaugural session of the festival.

At 6pm the Artists at Risk collective will be presented by its founders, Marita Muukkonen and Ivor Stodolsky. At 18.45 the documentary Tijera contra papel by Gerard Escuer will be screened, a film which reviews the history of censorship in Spain and denounces the intensification of this practice in recent times. Later, there will be a debate with the presence of the director of the documentary, Gerard Escuer and with the participation of Elgio and Pablo Hassel, rappers accused; Anaïs Franquesa, director of litigation at the Center for the Defense of Human Rights Iridia and Kaissa Ould Braham, journalist and activist. The table will be moderated by Fernando Paniagua, member of BccN2018 and No callarem.
