The taping of ‘Gent de mercats’ begins

New docuserie of TV3

This program shows the world of the municipal markets of Catalonia through the people who live and move around there. Directed by Tana Collados, a specialist in gastronomy in the TV3 News, the docuserie is scheduled to be broadcast this fall and will present the lives of traders, buyers and different human profiles that pass through the municipal markets.

Gent de mercats will focus on the day to day of the markets, key pieces of the fabric of neighborhoods and populations. The series, which is set in stable markets in different locations in the country, has also passed through our city and has shot in the markets of Sants, La Mercè, Sant Antoni, Provençals, Carmel, Estrella, Abaceria, Concepció and Horta.

The series of six chapters has the support of the Institut de Mercats de Barcelona, ​​Mercabarna, the Diputación de Barcelona and the Diputación de Tarragona, the Generalitat de Catalunya and the municipalities of Reus and Vilanova y la Geltrú.
