In April 2022, the Department against abuses in the audiovisual and performing arts sector of the Catalan Film Academy launched the Space for victims of abuse in the audiovisual and performing arts sector.

It is a service independent and confidential. It is coordinated and attended by the psychologist specializing in sexist violence Aina Troncoso (you can read the interview we did with her here), and the lawyer Carla Vall, criminal and criminologist expert in human rights and the approach and prevention of sexist violence. It is a telephone number 648526848 and an email address abusos@academiadelcinema.cat where victims can contact and receive a first session free of charge to advise them on a psychological and legal level.
