The big day arrives. Today begins the International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. And it does it as always in Sitges and with the premiere in the inaugural session of La forma del agua with the presence of its director, Guillermo Del Toro. He's the godfather of the festival this year. In addition, today will receive the Honorary Grand Prize of the festival the director William Friedkin, who terrified us with The Exorcist.

Saturday will be the turn of Susan Sarandon that will receive the Honorary Grand Prize during the pass of the classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Among the well-known faces that will be at the festival are figures like Frank Langella, Vince Vaughn, Udo Kier, Dario Argento or Robert Englund.

This year you will be able to see more than 255 films, in a special edition of the festival that celebrates half a century of existence. For many more years!
