09/23/2014

Rafa Martinez finishes the shooting of his first feature film that was filmed in Barcelona during five weeks.

Filmax stays committed with genre cinema, and this time it does so with Sweet Home. The last horror project of this Catalan production company, was shot this summer in Barcelona, in an uninhabited building located in the Sant Martí neighbourhood, where most of the action takes place, as well as in other streets of the Eixample and Old city districts.

The film, directed by newbie Rafa Martínez, also screenwriter of the film together with Teresa Rosendo and Angel Agudo, and starring Ingrid García-Jonsson (Hermosa Juventud) and Bruno Sevilla (Mindscape), is a realistic and claustrophobic story that shows the fear of a couple after sneaking into a forsaken building with the intention of spending a romantic evening, but witnessing in the end the murder of the only inmate of the property.

This production also counts with the participation of TVE.
