Máxima, the fictional series about the Queen of the Netherlands, Máxima Zorreguieta, is filming its second season. The new episodes begin with the wedding preparations between Máxima and Prince Willem-Alexander and end with the coronation ten years later. Delfina Chaves and Martijn Lakemeier play the main characters.

Millstreet Films, FBO, and Beta Film are producing the series, which is being filmed in Barcelona (with the service of Western Productions), the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria. Saskia Diesing and Joosje Duk are directing again.
