Due to the health crisis caused by the COVID-19, La GRAN Pantalla, the International Film Festival of the Elderly of Barcelona, ​​will hold its second edition online. This edition will invite you to rediscover and appreciate the world of the elderly through cinema and a whole series of activities also online from July 7 to 17, from the Filmin platform and the festival's website.

The festival will offer six feature films and 14 short films. The latter, chosen from among more than 250 received, enter the competition for the Best International Short Film La GRAN Pantalla. The contest will also present a series of participatory activities: a new section for Great Dialogues and three Cineforums. The inauguration will be on July 6 at the Cinemes Girona. La GRAN Pantalla is a project of elParlante with the support of the Barcelona City Council and, it has the collaboration of Filmin, Amics de la Gent Gran, Cinemes Girona, ACRA, Fundació Enllaç, and Qmayor.
