The Catalan Film Academy opens the registration period to participate in the XV Gaudí Awards. This year apart from celebrating its 15th, they have also grown in categories: Best New Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best New Performance.

It also expands the categories that will qualify for the Special Audience Award. In addition to the nominees for Best Film and Best Film in a non-Catalan language, they will also opt for Best Documentary Film and Best Animated Film. The number of European films shortlisted to compete in the first round of voting increases from 6 to 10.

The registration period will be open until September 29 at 2:00 p.m. through the enabled platform.
