'Ravens' is filmed in Barcelona

01/25/2024

Biopic directed by Mark Gill

Ravens is a biopic about the Japanese photographer Masahisa Fukase, a well-known artist with global influence for his work in photography. In his dark photographs and with his own transfiguration into a bird, he reflects on the complicated emotional situation that he suffered after his separation from his wife. His story is tumultuous and consumed by a tragic ending he cannot avoid. Ravens, written and directed by Mark Gill, is a co-production between France (Vestapol Films), Japan (Ark Entertainment), Belgium (The Y-House), and Spain (Minded Factory).
