Petitet will open the 21st edition of the festival

From the 16th to the 27th of May, the new edition of DocsBarcelona, a festival dedicated to the world of documentary, is celebrated. The event will open its doors with the premiere of Petitet by Carles Bosch. The film follows the gypsy musician Joan Ximénez Petitet, son of one of the palmeros of Peret, in his journey to take the Catalan rumba on the stage of a great theater.

The festival will also premiere Eugenio, a documentary on the unknown side of the great humorist. Eugenio is the new feature film by Xavier Baig and Jordi Rovira, after the award-winning documentary Joana Biarnés, una entre tots.
