At 12 and as part of the parallel activities of the BCN Film Festival, the Barcelona Audiovisual Adaptations Laboratory (LAAB 2024) will be presented at Casa Seat. At the event, Mireia Escobar, director of Creative Industries, will announce the rules of the 2024 call. It will also feature the participation of the LAAB 2019 winners: Mikel Mas (El nas de Mussolini and La pel·lícula de la vida) and Santiago Suárez (L’estiu de l’amor).

After the presentation, there will be a round table named "From the book to the screen" on the crucial role that intellectual property plays in film production, with the participation of prominent experts such as Carles Velat, a representative of the book Sideral: Estrella fugada; Anna Soler-Pont from the Pontas agency and Txell Llorens, president of the Association of Screenwriters of Catalonia (GAC).
