After a complex process of classifying, gathering and processing of data related to development and facilities for filming in Catalonia, the Barcelona Film Commission (City Council) and Catalunya Film Commission (Regional Government) introduce you our new website.

With this new platform we make available to audiovisual professionals all over the world, a page where to find in a intuitively, accessible and updated way, all relevant information about the rules and logistics necessary for the proper and easy development of shoots in Catalonia, as well as the straightforward process to request specific filming permits in Barcelona city.

The new website includes a directory of over 900 companies from the audiovisual industry and others of services related with it, based in Catalonia and sorted by category and municipality where they are, and a locations directory with a full new design, much more dynamic and attractive, with more than 1.100 film friendly public locations and private ones throughout Catalonia waiting to be discovered.

In addition, the website includes information about regulations, contact details of entities involved with film industry in Catalonia and in Spain, a filmography database and documents of interest to professionals.

Regarding the previous website, the new one includes a dynamic section with news, making of videos of shootings in the city and the rest of the territory that will be updated with highlighted information daily.
