Between January 7 and 27, the period for applications for subsidies corresponding to the General Call for the year 2022 of the Barcelona City Council is open. They are for projects, activities, and district and city services that will have to start and end within the year object of the call, that is, between January 1 and December 31, 2022.

The Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) is the entity responsible for managing grants in the areas of culture (A) and culture and education (C), two thematic areas consisting of seventeen programs: fourteen Culture programs and three Education and Culture programs. Among them is a program dedicated to Cinema and Audiovisuals and Cinema Rooms.

The ICUB will hold an informative session to explain the main novelties, and the procedure to submit applications. It will be Wednesday, January 12 at 11 a.m., and to attend you must first register through this link. Only one person per entity can apply to the session, and the acceptance of the registration will be in the order of receipt and until the capacity is completed. Registrations will close on January 10 at 11:59 p.m.
