On October 16, Latin American Women Documentalists will begin within the programming of the Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones. This program can be seen at the Girona Cinemas and is organized in collaboration with Casa Amèrica. On this occasion, it has three premieres by three new women directors who are receiving great recognition from festivals and international critics:

• October 16 – Cuando ellos se fueron by Verónica Haro, premiered at Visions du Réel
• October 22 – Visión nocturna by Carolina Moscoso, awarded at the FID Marseille and premiered in San Sebastián
• October 30 – Caperucita roja de Tatiana Mazú, SEMINCI official section
