07/30/2024

Based on his homonymous short

The director based Harta on her short film, Gaudí Award, and Audience Award at the Málaga Festival. The script is by Júlia de Paz together with Núria Dunjó.

The protagonist of Harta is debutant actress Kiara Arancibia in the role of the young Carmela, together with Julián Villagrán, Janet Novás, and Petra Martínez. Harta films in different locations in the province of Barcelona until the end of July.

After the separation of her parents, Carmela (Kiara Arancibia) and her mother (Janet Novás) move to her grandmother's house (Petra Martínez). While trying to adapt to her new situation, Carmela longs to spend more time at her father's house (Julián Villagrán), a plastic artist she admires and idolizes. The shadow of this will lead the three generations of women in the family to decide the future they deserve. Astra Pictures, Avalon, and Krater produce.
