Catalog with the titles that guard the film archives of the country

The principal state film archives, with the collaboration of the Spanish Institute of Cultural Heritage (IPCE), have made the Inventory of Spanish Cinema Conserved (ICEC) available to researchers and the general public. The project began in 2015, and it gathers the data of the films kept in the different film archives distributed throughout the Spanish geography. Among the participating entities is the Filmoteca de Catalunya.

The inventory includes fiction feature films up to the year 2000 and short films from the silent period up to 1930. At this time, the search engine allows access to data from almost 6000 titles and more than 30,000 photochemical materials. This project is still in progress since the information contained in this inventory will be completed and updated as the work of the participating archives progresses.
