The actresses Nora Navas and Blanca Portillo have announced the nominations for the 37th edition of the Goya Awards, awards that, as a novelty, now have five nominations in all their categories. Five of the films nominated filmed in Barcelona. We review them in this article.
16 nominations for "Prison 77" by Alberto Rodríguez, with Miguel Herrán and Javier Gutiérrez as protagonists. They filmed in the Modelo prison, but also in the sewage network and various interiors and streets of Barcelona.

6 nominations for "God's Crooked Lines" by Oriol Paulo with Bárbara Lennie and Eduard Fernández as protagonists. They filmed in Barcelona in Casa Capell, the Bar Association, Fomento del Trabajo, and the Corpus Christi Church.

3 nominations for "La maternal" by Pilar Palomero with Ángela Cervantes and Carlota Quílez as protagonists. They filmed in the Tibidabo amusement park and various interiors and streets of Barcelona.

3 nominations for "One Year, One Night" by Isaki Lacuesta, with Nahuel Pérez Biscayart and Noémi Merlant as protagonists. They shot in the Sala Apolo, as if it were the Bataclan room in Paris and in various buildings in Barcelona.

1 nomination for "Wild Sunflowers" by Jaime Rosales with Anna Castillo as the lead and nominated for Best Leading Actress. They filmed in the Pedraforca square, on the beach and promenade of Mar Bella, in the Central Park of Nou Barris, the North Train Station, and in other interiors and streets of the city.
