The second feature film by the Rodríguez Colás sisters

The creators of Lasses, sisters Carol Rodríguez Colás and Marina Rodríguez Colás, have finished filming in Barcelona their new feature film, La Gang, a coming of age that tells the story of three teenagers' journey from the outskirts of Barcelona to a party in the upper area that will make them discover that it is not easy to escape prejudices and expectations. It is a story of friendship starring three young people who realize that wanting is not always possible. Produced by Fasten Films in co-production with Saga Film and Mart Films, the film, starring debuting actors, will be distributed in theaters by Filmax.

The creators of La Gang say about the project: "We knew we wanted to make this film by continuing to observe our neighborhood and seeing how new generations, who share daily life with neighbors and lifelong businesses, encounter the same conditions of subordination as always, but without the class shame of our generation: they are proud of their origins and are not so afraid to show their desires and frustrations."
