Auteur's cinema with a social aspect

Xesc Cabot and Pep Garrido direct this film that, co-produced by Alhena Production and Atiende Films, aims to give visibility to the homeless, people who are normally invisible to society. Sense Sostre was shot during the month of March in Barcelona, Penedès, and Garraf. The film tells the story of Joan, a homeless who decides to abandon his routine of alcohol and violence in the streets of Barcelona and embark on an uncertain journey to a destination that only he knows. The protagonists of Sense Sostre are people who have lived in the street, like Enric Molina, the main actor who plays Joan. The actresses Laia Manzanares and Teresa Vallicrosa also participate. The film has the support of institutions and entities such as Arrels Fundació, Intermón Oxfam, Tv3, the City Council of Barcelona (Benestar Social), the Diputació de Barcelona, Instituto de las Ciencias y las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA), Fundació la Caixa and Fundació Catalunya Cultura.
