The director Juana Macías shoots these days in different locations of Barcelona her new film. El favor is a story about the family starring Inma Cuesta, Diego Martín, Sara Sálamo, Alfonso Bassave and Pere Ponce. The script is by Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor. In addition, the cast is completed by Gonzalo de Castro, Isabel Ordaz, Luisa Gavasa, Betsy Turnez and Iván Renedo.

The Gallardos are a wealthy and respected family that spends the summer in a beautiful farmhouse cared for down to the smallest detail by Amparito, the dearest Tata for the three children of the family. She has been like a second mother to them. When Amparito dies, they find out that Amparito's last wish is to be buried in the family vault. The Gallardos have it clear: no way! After refusing to fulfill this favor, Amparito's legacy leaves them with a surprise in the form of farewell letters full of dirty laundry and hurtful family truths.
