A tribute to the poet Antonio Machado

The shooting of the second documentary by the Andalusian director Laura Hojman, a tribute to Antonio Machado, has been in our city. This is her second work after Tierras Solares, a documentary about Rubén Darío's travels through Andalusia. The production has shot in Barcelona, Madrid, Segovia, Seville, Baeza, Collioure and Paris.

Los días azules (The blue days) wants to pay homage to the universal poet Antonio Machado on the 80th anniversary of his death in exile in Collioure, France. The film takes the title of the last verses that the poet wrote, and that his brother José found in the pocket of his coat after his death: "These blue days and this childhood sun".

The film is a production of Summer Films with the participation of Canal Sur Radio and Television and the support of the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions of the Junta de Andalucía. Its premiere is expected in 2020.
