Disney and tourism

06/30/2015

This conference will address the relationship between Disney factory and tourist offices in several countries.

Since the creation of Disneyland during the 1950s, the Disney factory has been the perfect prototype for the production of films completely merged with tourism. It is also important to mention the high demand of products and services related to Disney films and tourism.

Two recent examples of this are the film Brave and his relationship with Scotland and the film Frozen with Norway. Tourism in these areas has increased significantly after the release of the films, thus obtaining a benefit for the country and obviously for Disney. This conference will emphasize how the iconic film company and tourism projects in each country are creating these synergies to work together.
