Filming has begun on Ciudad de sombras, a new Netflix crime series that adapts the first novel in the Milo Malart saga, El verdugo de Gaudí, by Aro Sáinz de la Maza.

A dreadful crime has occurred in La Pedrera - Casa Milà: a burnt body has appeared on the façade of Gaudí's emblematic building. Inspector Milo Malart (Isak Férriz), who until now was suspended for indiscipline by the Mossos, returns to work in Barcelona to, with the help of sub-inspector Rebeca Garrido (Verónica Echegui), try to find the perpetrator of the crime. Ciudad de sombras, which Arcadia produces for Netflix, is directed by Jorge Torregrossa.

Filming of this new thriller will take place in autumn and winter in various locations in Barcelona. The cast includes Isak Férriz, Verónica Echegui, Ana Wagener, Manolo Solo, and Jordi Rico.
