The Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC), through the Business Development Service (SDE) and the Audiences Department, organizes this conference entitled "Cinema, festivals & audiences", with the collaboration of the Catalunya Film Festivals and the Barcelona Film Commission. The day will be held on June 26th at the Disseny Hub in Barcelona. It is a day designed for film festivals throughout the territory to deal with and face the main challenges and concerns of the sector and give way to a qualitative and quantitative treatment of the audiences that attend the different festivals and exhibitions.
The event will be open by Jodie Wilkinson, Public Engagement Coordinator of the Glasgow Film Festival with a conference entitled "Development and creation of audiences in film festivals." Gemma Beltran, Head of International Press for the San Sebastian International Film Festival, will explain "A great audiences festival success model. Global landscape and local actions ". During the day Andreu Garrido, from Teknecultura will talk about "Where are our audiences? A joint work proposal: tools and initiatives ". The event will end with a round table with Carolina Ciuti from LOOP Barcelona; Carolina López from Animac; Albert Olivas of Temporada Alta; Cristian Pascual from IN-EDIT and Moritz Feed Dog; Carlos R. Ríos of the D'A Film Festival and Víctor Sala of SerielizadosFest who will talk about "A landscape of audiences: different programming, different audiences?".
