Cesc Gay films in Barcelona ‘Mi amiga Eva’

The Barcelona director Cesc Gay finished shooting his new film, Mi amiga Eva, on May 30. The story, which takes place between Barcelona and Rome, stars Nora Navas, accompanied by Juan Diego Botto and Rodrigo de la Serna. Complete the cast Àgata Roca, Fernanda Orazzi, Francesco Carril, Marian Álvarez, and Miki Esparbé.

Eva is a 50-year-old woman, married for twenty years and with two teenage children. During a business trip to Rome, Eva realizes she wants to fall in love again before it's too late. Back in Barcelona, Eva begins a new life, single and open to the game of seduction and romance. For a year, we will follow this woman who has broken her world because she is looking for a feeling. It is an impossibility, but maybe a chance can rescue us.

Mi amiga Eva is produced by Imposible Films and Alexfilm AIE. Cesc Gay wrote the script together with Eduard Sola. The film will be distributed in cinemas by Filmax.
