Cerca de tu casa (Close to your home) is a musical feature film produced by Bausan Films that tells the drama that Sonia (Sílvia Pérez Cruz) and her family are living. After losing her job, they cannot deal with the mortgage payments and they are evicted with a 10 years old daughter. All this situation forces them to return back to her parents’ home. The crisis, frustration and hopelessness make their family life full of tensions.

The film is directed by Eduard Cortés (The Pelayos, La vida de nadie), who is also screenwritter of this film together with Piti Español (El cor de la ciutat, Estació d’enllaç), and counts with a cast full of well known faces of the Catalan scene led by Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Lluís Homar, Adriana Ozores, Manuel Morón, Ivan Massagué, Oriol Vila and Ivan Benet.

This drama will be shot during February mainly in Barcelona, focusing on Sant Martí’s District.
