Catalunya Film Festivals organizes an accessibility workshop

03/03/2025

Thursday 20th of March

If you want to make your festivals and film shows more accessible, Catalunya Film Festivals organizes a workshop entitled "Suitable for all audiences." As a first step, this workshop includes an accessibility self-diagnosis form—a "thermometer" that will allow you to measure your degree of accessibility.

First, you make the self-diagnosis form, and then you can take the in-person workshop, where you will know the improvements you can adopt in your festival or film show. In the same session, they will present the Culture Consulting line of subsidy to you in detail, which will help you develop the accessibility plan for your project and bring you up to date with the requirements of the Accessibility Code of Catalonia.

Èlia Sala, a doctor in creative accessibility and audiovisual translator, will be in charge of teaching the workshop that will take place on Thursday, March 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the Sala Ramon Muntaner, headquarters of the SGAE.
