From the 8th to the 19th of May, the 71st edition is celebrated

Remember that, like every year, Catalan Films & TV makes available to all Catalan companies attending the Marché du Film, including festivals, its stand at the Palais des Festivals (number 23.02 Palais Level 01).

This year the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs has selected Petra directed by Jaime Rosales and starring Àlex Brendemühl and Barbara Lennie. Within the framework of the Marché du Film, some Catalan films will be screened for international buyers. Catalan films such as Les distàncies by Elena Trapé, which has just received the Golden Biznaga for best film, the Silver Biznaga for the best direction and the award for best actress for Alexandra Jiménez in the 21st edition of the Malaga Film Festival. Kilian Jornet by Josep Serra and Sébastien Montaz-Rosset, Mi querida cofradía by Marta Díaz, Petra by Jaime Rosales, Framed by Marc Carreté and Casa de sudor y lágrimas by Sonia Escolano will also be screened. The Catalan shorts will also be present in Cannes, in the space dedicated to the short film, the Short Film Corner.
