
TV Movie produced by Tv3 and Galápagos Media
During the months of January and February, Barcelona hosted the filming of the TV Movie Cançó per tu, produced by Tv3 and Galápagos Media with the support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia and Compact. The movie is set in the Barcelona of 1966, its director is Oriol Ferrer and its protagonists are Candela Serrat, Nao Albet, and Felix Herzog.
Cançó per tu tells the story of Laia (Candela Serrat), a law student at the University of Barcelona. She works in the university library to pay for her studies, although composing songs is her great passion. She begins to go out with Ignasi (Felix Herzog), a student committed to the clandestine struggle against the Franco regime. Laia can’t stand her boyfriend’s best friend, David (Nao Albet). However, she will discover that appearances are deceiving, and that, under his disguise as a child of a good family of David, lies the true author of Ignasi's speeches and a boy who will support Laia's musical career.
Filming has taken place at different locations in the city such as the historic building of the University of Barcelona to Plaza Universitat, the Casa Bloc of Sant Andreu and the Monastery of the Caputxins of Sarrià.
