The European Parliament hosted the conference

The European Film Commissions Network celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with a meeting between 7 and 9 November at the European Parliament headquarters in Brussels. As a member of the organization, the Barcelona Film Commission has been present at the meeting.

In this meeting two conferences were held around two work panels: "Light! Camera! Jobs! " about the economic importance of the audiovisual sector and its impact on other creative industries and "Visibility of Europe - Film Tourism - Impact and Cultural Identity "on how film productions contribute to give visibility to Europe all over the world. This panel counted on the moderation of our colleague Carlota Guerrero of the Catalunya Film Commission.
