Barcelona Film Commission at the Festival de Cannes

The BFC has taken part at the 69th edition of the Festival de Cannes, thanks to Catalan Films&TV. The internationalization program of Catalan audiovisual companies has been present for the first time at the Marché du Film International Village with its own pavilion.

The purpose of this presence is to give visibility to all the professionals of the Catalan film industry, such as Barcelona and Catalonia Film Commissions, TVC - Catalan Television, festivals like the International Fantastic Film Festival in Sitges or the federation of producers PROA, among others.

During the ten days of the market, new films were screened, some of them shot in Barcelona: Cerca de tu casa by Eduard Cortés, Nadie quiere la noche by Isabel Coixet, La mort de Louis XIV by Albert Serra, Neruda by Pablo Larraín, Ozzy by Alberto Rodriguez, The Chosen by Antonio Chavarrías, Ciudadano ilustre by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, Toro by Kike Maíllo and Vulcania by Jose Skaf.
