
Barcelona hosts during four days the shooting of some scenes of Les êtres chers, a Canadian film produced by Metafilms.
Les êtres chers (The loved ones, is a film about life, forgiveness and grieving that revolves around three generations, directed by the Canadian Anne Émond known in Quebec for its success with her first feature film, Night #1, selected by more than 25 film festivals around the world with great film critics.
The shooting started in Montreal, it followed in Bas-Saint-Laurent, and finally it landed in Barcelona, where the crew was filming from October 8th to 11th the scenes that follow the footsteps of Laurence (Karelle Tremblay), through several locations of the city such as the Raval Streets, Park Güell, a flamenco show, a hostel and the beach, where they recreate a rave.
The Catalan company Andergraun Films, has been commissioned to make the link with the city, collaborating in this project with Metafilms, producer of Mommy¸ film directed by the young Xavier Dolan awarded with the Jury Prize at 67th Cannes Film Festival Official Section.
