The environmental film festival brings news
The 31st edition of Suncine, the International Environmental Film Festival, will open on November first. Suncine aims to be a loudspeaker to raise awareness about the most pressing environmental issues and, through its extensive in-person and online program, propose measures for urgent action.
In this edition, more than 1,500 films from 138 countries have sent their candidature, of which only 100 will compete for one of the awards the festival grants in its five categories. In addition, it will feature the attendance of well-known personalities such as the French filmmaker, writer, activist, and poet Cyril Dion. The main novelty of this edition is the creation of the “Panorama” section, which will address the problem of water scarcity and drought.
In addition to in-person screenings, Suncine will have free screenings on the SUNCINE APP and Play RENFE on AVE and long-distance trains. We will see them on the 3Cat and Xarxa+ platforms and a selection on Betevé. From November 9 to 23, an exclusive selection will be available on the CaixaForum+ platform.
