Last July 4, the Academia de Cinema Català held the Catalan Cinema Summer Festival. They presented the Pepón Coromina Award. This award recognizes creativity, risk, and innovation in recognition of the producer Pepón Coromina.

The jury of this edition has decided to award the XI Pepón Coromina Prize to the film Upon Entry, directed by Juan Sebastián Vásquez and Alejandro Rojas. The movie was filmed in the city of Barcelona. The jury comprised the actress Anna Alarcón, the advisor Salima Jirari, the producer Edmon Roch, the director David Moragas, and the honorary president of the academy, Marta Molins. The jury members also wanted to mention the documentary Todo una vida by Marta Romero.
